Which one gets tossed overboard without a life preserver? Promises to be a great catfight.

She will attack Suzanne Somers with everything she has, maybe even the kitchen sink. Suzanne wants a win to stay in the top half. She has a stronger motivation of ripping apart one of the most popular sex symbols around, at least by the men. After being stabbed in the back by Joyce DeWitt she loves nothing better than whipping a brunette.

Stefanie knows that Cathy is susceptible to dirty tricks. She claims she is not as weak as others think and is offended by Cathy’s comment about beating Stefanie with one hand tied behind her back. Cathy may run into a foe with renewed resolve and nastiness.

Another fight between two women at or near the bottom of the rankings. Nevertheless this could be a very intense catfight between two weaker women. Both are confident they can get a rare win. Jaclyn Smith has the size on Nancy and Nancy Smith is more athletic than Jaclyn. Both are limbering up their legs which could portend the type of fight it will be.

Expect one super fight here. Both women are in close competition for the title with only one loss. This fight is crucial for both. Sybil is leading by the vote difference tie breaker on the merits of having given Jaclyn Smith the worst beat down in Sex Symbol fighting history. Ann-Margret is feeling very confident after taking care of Raquel Welch in front of Elvis. Sybil is coming off an easy fight with Farrah Fawcett and is well rested. Ann-Margret must be tired and more sore after her hard fight with Raquel   The odds makers say Sybil is meaner and Ann-Margret is stronger, at least in the legs. A loss by either could eliminate them from the title so neither will give up easily.

Senta said that Luciana lost to that skinny German, Elke Sommer, and so will not be any trouble for her. Luciana says that Elke is very strong and she came close to beating her. She claims Senta is in for a big surprise and that she will give Senta all she can handle and then some. “Look at the way she is pulling her hair out in fear. That is how I will yank her hair out” adds Luciana.

This is an interesting match up. Linda Evans is still in contention to win the championship. Iv those above her make a misstep and/or beat each other up she could move ahead of them. Also she hasn’t faced any of those above her yet and could help her cause by beating them. But she can’t make any missteps herself like she did against Pam Grier (no shame there) and Cassandra Peterson (a loss Linda can’t explain.) Joey Heatherton is no slouch herself, being in 8th place. She knows how to win. Linda has proven to be strong overall and a good fighter. Joey has shown how strong her legs are and is also a good fighter. It will be Joey’s speed and strong legs against Linda’s overall strength. Both women love to fight.

Lindsay Wagner	Pam Grier

Lindsay Wagner and Pam Grier are relaxing before their fight but don’t let that fool you. Pam has written down what she is going to do to Lindsay only to be revealed after the fight. Lindsay is thinking that many people overrate Pam and her record proves it. Lindsay says she is the same size as Pam and just as strong. She says she can be just as mean. Lindsay’s words make Pam even meaner, not a wise thing to do. Pam also says that they are certainly not the same size when it comes to breasts. Why she can’t even find Lindsay’s minuscule titties.

Welch/Somers and Danning/Ann-Margaret are the two best match-ups in this set and here are my thoughts:

Victoria Principal vs Diane McBain
First fight and already should be the closest one of the entire round. Both women are virtually matching themselves in skills and their record is also the same. Since Victoria was able to put up a strong challenge against Loni Anderson, then I'll go with the redhead on this one but this could easily be a draw.

Raquel Welch vs Suzanne Somers
Suzanne is tough as they come but must be feeling her latest two fights where she got trashed by Senta Berger and Sybil Danning. Meanwhile Raquel is still furious after losing to Ann Margaret and would like nothing else then dispatch her next rival quickly. Considering those issue, I say Raquel gives Suzanne her third rough beatdown in a row and knocks her out.

Cathy Lee Crosby vs Stefanie Powers
Cathy could threaten the biggest beatdown of the entire round as Stefanie just doesn't stand a chance in this one.

Jaclyn Smith vs Nancy Kwan
Both these women are indeed looking for a rare victory and I'd say Jaclyn would just prevail over the petite Nancy in a really close fight. If Nancy's Asian heritage is up for anything, then she might use some martial arts to her favour but I don't see it happening.

Sybil Danning vs Ann Margaret
Sybil often scares away their rivals even before the fight starts (Jaclyn Smith could tell her story there) but after beating Raquel Welch, Ann Margaret is on top of the world and gives the blonde her second loss of the tournament. Ann Margaret is rising up as the real woman to beat in the remaining rounds IMO.

Senta Berger vs Luciana Paluzzi
The only woman who can stop Ann Margaret is Senta Berger though and even though Luciana Paluzzi is another tough fighter, just like Suzanne Somers vs Raquel Welch, she gets creamed into pieces in a really brutal slugfest with Senta.

Linda Evans vs Joey Heatherton
Joey is a dirty, vicious catfighter but Linda's record is no fluke and she smashes Joey's face into jelly beans and sends her unconscious on the floor.

Lindsay Wagner vs Pam Grier
Pam is feeling lucky with her recent schedule and takes another easy win sending Lindsay down and out in a short fight.

The only one of the fights in this round that i see going opposite to the wisdom of the rest would see Sybil win in a truly vicious fight. Ann Margret would not go down easily, the only one sided fight in this round has Pam Grier giving Lindsay Wagner a pasting.

Synopsis of fights:
Victoria Principal 53 vs Diane McBain 35: Victoria gave Diane the 4th worst beat down to break her tie in points with Diane and stay ahead of her in the rankings. Given the toughness and nastiness of Diane the size of Victoria's victory was surprising. Diane tried to cheat and use a line for one of the sails to choke Victoria. Victoria managed to get the line away from Diane and then dumped her over the side of the boat to take command of the yacht.

Raquel Welch 51 vs Suzanne Somers 32: Raquel is trying desperately to stay in the hunt for the title. She has said she is going destroy all her opponents and no chickenshit wimp like Suzanne Somers will stand in her way. Suzanne was fighting to stay in the top half of the rankings and says no skinny leggy bitch like Raquel can beat her. The trading of words increased the intensity of the fight. Raquel used her greater fighting knowledge to overwhelm Suzanne and finished her off with a scissors from her "skinny legs" to prove a point to Suzanne.

Cathy Lee Crosby 53 vs Stefanie Powers 32: Cathy Led Crosby was overjoyed to be up against a weaker opponent. She wasn't going to let Stefanie Powers trip her up or do something sneaky. Cathy picked Stefanie up on her shoulders and spun her around and around. Then tossed her as far as she could so Stefanie landed hard. Cathy did a flying leap onto the supine Stefanie and completely flattened her for an easy victory, giving Stefanie the 2nd worst beat down of the round.

Jaclyn Smith 44 vs Nancy Kwan 41: These may be two of the weakest women in the tournament but they fought hard and intensely to stay out of last place. Jaclyn had been there after losing to Stefanie Powers. A win over Nancy would get some revenge for Stefanie would go to last place after getting beat up by Cathy Lee. Both women tried submission holds but weren't strong enough to defeat the will of the other. They ended up rolling back and forth on the ground with some vicious hairpulling. Jaclyn was lucky enough to end up on top of Nancy as both got too exhausted to continue. A rare and satisfying victory for the Angel.

Sybil Danning 45 vs Ann-Margret 46: Ann-Margret held on to edge out Sybil in the hardest, longest, and one of the most vicious fights in the tournament - this round or any other round. A lot was at stake. Ann-Margret was getting the better of Sybil for most of the fight although it was close. Then Sybil heard that Senta Berger had lost. She knew she would regain 1st place no matter what Elke did. New energy and viciousness inspired Sybil to go after Ann-Margret with everything she had. In creased hair pulling, slapping, punching, kicking, and maybe even some biting started to turn the battle in Sybil's favor. Had Ann-Margret no punished Sybil so much earlier on than Sybil might have pulled it out. But somehow Ann-Margret held on and returned fire. The much more powerful legs gave her the means to finally force Sybil to quit. Had the fight lasted a little longer a reinvigorated Sybil might have pullet it out. As it was Ann-Margret was lucky to win but as she says "A lucky win counts just as much as any other win. and it is justice to see a nice girl win over a nasty one, don't you agree?" "Fuck you" answers Sybil, "it will be different the next time, and there will be a next time, sweetie."

Senta Berger 43 vs Luciana Paluzzi 46: his was one of the most significant "upsets" so far. Senta Berger controlled her own fate. All she had to do was to win every match from her on out to become champion. No one could catch her. Luciana had given some tough fights to the better fighters but Senta did not consider her in the top tier of fighters. It wasn't clear what Senta said to Luciana but whatever it was it riled Luciana's blood and her fiery Italian blood rose to a level not seen before. She isn't Sicilian and so isn't know for being the spit fire as some of the other Italians, she is more refined most of the time. Luciana's ferociousness and constant attack got Senta off guard and kept her there. Senta did have Luciana in trouble but Luciana turned into too much a wild woman for Senta to keep her there. As noted, this was considered an "upset" and is significant because of the importance of Senta winning. But it wasn't a huge upset because Luciana has done very well against some other top contenders.

Linda Evans 49 vs Joey Heatherton 40: Linda Evans seems to be the forgotten woman when people talk about the top fighters. Yet she is only one loss behind those above her and could end up the champion. Joey Heatherton has shown flashes of brilliance that indicates she can beat anyone when she is on her game. Linda is big and strong, Joey is fast and strong. Linda used her advantage to push Joey around and out muscle her with her greater upper body strength. Joey punished Linda by using her speed and stronger legs to get Linda into some painful head and body scissors. Linda putted it out by getting Joey in a full nelson that she couldn't bet out of. Linda slowly forced Joey onto her knees and then planted her face in the ground to force Joey to submit.

Lindsay Wagner 40 vs Pam Grier 47: Pam Grier is a fighter who can rip any of these other fighters apart if she is totally focused and puts her mind to it. She has a tendency to sometimes take her opponent for granted and do a bit of a walk about so she has lost some fights she probably should have one. From past results Lindsay Wagner would not appear to be in Pam's league. Pam decided to have some fun and play with Lindsay. She still won fairly convincingly but the Lindsay took advantage of a few lapses by Pam and made a fight of it.
