Brief synopsis of the fights:
Claudia Cardinale 38 vs Martha Hyer 31:Martha gave Claudia a tough fight and it even looked like she had a chance at one time. Then Claudia decided to get serious. She had been teasing Martha, letting her think she might win. Claudia turned on her power near the end of the fight and KOed Martha with a brutal punch. In spite of the size and strength disadvantage between herself and Claudia, Martha gave a good account of herself and ended up with the five closest fight of this round.
Elizabeth Taylor 22 vs Jayne Mansfield 46: Jayne was taking no chances with Elizabeth and her sharp claws. She knocked Elizabeth down, place her foot on her back and pulled both her arms in a twisting arm bar. Liza pleaded for mercy but Jayne then rolled her over, spread her legs and planted her foot on Liz's crotch. Jayne ended up giving Elizabeth the third worst beat down this round.
Ursula Andress 45 vs Brigitte Bardot 24: Ursula was not going to let a weak Brigitte Bardot ruin her perfect record and get in her way on her match to the title. She gave Brigitte the fourth worst beat down this round. The Swiss Miss totally dominated and humiliated the French sex kitten.
Esther Williams 37 vs Jane Russell 30: Two strong, tough women who are underrated. This was a very physical fight with each trying to strong arm and out muscle the other. The test of strength was equal for a long time with Esther and Jane trading advantages. Years of swimming and exercise turn the battle in Esther favor as she had the more stamina.
Jeanne Crain 29 vs Bettie Page 38: This fight turned out to be a pretty routine fight for Bettie as she handled Jeanne easily. Jeanne did her best to out quick Bettie but even if she got a hold on Bettie, Bettie was too big, too strong, and too experienced as a fighter for Jeanne to force any submission or pin her. As is her want and trade mark, Bettie spanked the hell out of Jeanne's sweet ass at the end.
Sophia Loren 35 vs Marilyn Monroe 34: This was the closest, longest fight of the round to the surprise of most. Marilyn fought like a tigress which caught Sophia off guard. Some suggested that Sophia was resting in preparation for her upcoming fight with Stella Stevens. If so it almost caused her the fight as Marilyn was supercharged for this fight. Marilyn resented the claim that Sophia wasn't taking it easy. "I'm just stronger, tougher, and a better fighter than you give me credit for" said Marilyn. Sophia just smiled and said "She can have a rematch any time she wants."
Diana Rigg 29 vs Angie Dickinson 37: This was a fight between quick, athletic women. It was the judo expert against the woman trained for police tactics. The skill of each gave her control over the other as it went back and forth. Angie won by surprising Diana with a leap where she clamped her legs around Diana's waist. Diana went down and Angie continued to squeeze until Diana had to surrender. he final result was greater than the closeness of the fight over all.
Diana Dors 40 vs Gina Lollobrigida 27: English vs Italian, blonde vs brunette, but both can be nasty although Gina is regarded to be the more fiery of the two. Both buxom with Diana having the slightly larger bust. Many figured the blonde could not stand up to the temper and explosiveness of the hot Italian. The opposite turned out to be true as Diana gave Gina the fifth worst beat down this round. After some early exchanges Diana nailed Gina with some solid blows to her jaw. Gian went down. From then on Diana dragged her around by the hair and never let Gina up as she worked her over.
